Wind vibration sensor for Awning

Question

I bought this: Carefree (SR0093) 12V Direct Response Upgrade Kit. I installed it. Now I cannot find any instructions on how it is supposed to operate. Has anyone here used one of these if so how dose it function? Thanks for any help you can provide Alvin

Once you install the sensor box on the inside of the awning metal cover and run the wires, it is just the MOTION that starts the retract. What I do is use a broom to push the extended awning end cover, up and down a few times and that triggers the motion sensor to start the Auto Retract. There is no real adjustment. They are preset from Carefree. Doug
