I agree 68db Is loud, that's a full Bell more than say a Honda EU-2000i (And then some) a bell means there is 10 times more power expended making noise. (not 10 times as loud)
68-52=16 db louder, Anti log of 1.6 is 39.8 times as much power making noise. The difference between a 1 watt stereo and a 40 watt stereo.
