My 2nd child has bought an RV trailer. My dad was first with a tent trailer back in the early 70's, then I did a TT around 1992.........
Have not looked at it, but what He and spouse tell me, it is way nicer in many ways than my Prowler was. SOO. Off ward and on ward for them!
Most importantly, it is DOG approved by Luna-tic!

I believe that all RVs need to be dog-approved first haha

I was in the Boy scouts too. Our old tents did not have floors and we did camp in the winter. That would have been in the Fifties. We learned to swim there. I then was in the Sea scouts where we learned to sail four types of sailboats. Back then we sailed into the dock with sails. We also had survival training which all helped for Boundry Waters trips in our canoes.

Mark,
First camping trips I recall was around 1970. Ocean Shores, lake kechess and sun lake area in WA St
Scouts from 72 hiking in Cascades, various rock and glacier volcanoes, including Ranier.
Took eldest twin sons out inom and step dad's type c 6-9 month range.
TT in 92 when youngest of four was 6 months. Yellowstone that fall. Ski weekends at ski areas from Dec to late March to early April for 12 years.
Current RV is a sailboat, motoring it south on Puget sound thumb typing.
Being able to camp one use an RV of any sort is fun recreation.

Nice to hear you are on third generation for camping.
I was the first in our family. I started off with a small 2-pound tent for camping in the Boundry waters of Minnesota back in 1966.
