The '24 Duramax hp/torque rating is probably understated like the '20 Powerstroke was.
Yes it might be, I don't recall the numbers, but the parasitic loss through the drivetrain seemed really low to me, suggesting that it's making more power than advertised or they have figured out how to lessen the loss running through the drivetrain.
