Anyone drive the 2023 Chevy 2500HD 6.6L gasser?? How does it operate? Does it burn oil? The biggest complaint I see in the reviews is the oil issue in the 2020 6.6L, but nothing about that in the newer engines. Anyone have comments on this engine ... Might buy one as I found a couple 2023 equipped well, and less $$$ than equivalent 2024. Just gathering info at this time. I haul a Lance 845 at 2700 lbs dry and around 3000 wet. Truck I'm looking at is 4x4 Dbl Cab ... Seems like this is the only engine in these trucks, and don't want to go diesel ... Thanks ... M44

we have them at work but I can't tell you if it burns oil as I just drive it. we use it in a mine enviorment, it is a 3500 crew cab, has a flat deck with a hiab on it and we use it a a cable truck. has a deicent amount of power, on our 4 trucks there is always a check engin light on, and they seam to go through brakes a lot faster than the last generation with the 6.2L we had.

Your trailer is not all that heavy. With your experience I would not expect you to have any problem. They may have solved the oil problem since 2020.
