Note from moderator,
Please keep pics to a max 640 width as a favor to those with smaller screens and dial up. "IF" you can not figure out how to make the pics smaller, post them, PM me or hit 'notify moderator' button, say you can not resize pics, and I aka blt2ski/Marty will go in and edit/fix.
Enjoy everyones pics

You can install something similar to the Yakima tracks from this following link. But yes, drilling into the fiberglass is required for these tracks. I used them in the PNW and they sealed fine, didn't leak. With these types of tracks, Thule also makes a similar product, different length cross bars provide a lot of options. I can mount two kayaks laying flat on my canopy:

I love me some land yachting

PAthwaker, can you describe what product you're using to carry that canoe? I have the same rise on my camper top and didn't know what to do. Did you drill through the fiberglass to mount it?

Nice truck, a bit over kill with a 1 ton for a 5000 lbs loaded HTT but better to have to much, than not enough. ๐Ÿ˜›

Anyhow, nothing wrong with a 2008 midsize V8 truck pulling a 23' 5000 lbs trailer. Mine did great, just worse mileage than the F150.

Our rig has 3000lb payload and 8ft bed. Pack it with bikes, firewood, oudoor kitchen, stroller, cooler, canoe gear, tools, large tote, and still have room for gear.

Our k3500 has the small block 5.7l. Suffers the same challenges as half ton small blocks but has the inner guts (4l80E, 4.10, oil/trans coolers) for worry free towing.

This is by far the coolest truck I've seen on this forum.

Is there a smiley icon for 'bowing before the master'? I need one like that right now. ๐Ÿ™‚

I used to tow a 14000lb bumper pull concession trailer with a 1987 Chevy p600 walkin van. It had a 19280 gvw and the lowly 8.2 detroit/allison 545. It was an ex philly inquirer paper truck that had its 4th 8.2 liter 500ci na detroit replaced before we got rid of it.

Very nice truck and trailer, BUT crank on those spring bars! It's just not right seeing a F250 dragging a$$. :B
