Both good ideas. My get all kinds of interference (audio and video) in my Vizio when I turn on the stove top exhaust fan.
When I turned on my bathroom vent fan I would get that same noise on my outside speakers. I replaced the bathroom vent fan with a Vortex Fan and that solved the noise problem. I wonder if you can replace your stove vent fan with something else and achieve the same results.
