I'm looking at your lift pictures. I really think you should have the channel iron welded to the frame on the top I have the same type of frame as yours. I built a lift for mine and I didn't think just the bolts through the side would be enough. When you are turning a trailer it exhorts a tremendous pressure on the locating point on the axles.
