Exactly the thing todo. Service beds simply too tall .
I've spent many an hour driving a truck with a service bed.

Question here. Would a gooseneck adapter by Andersen hitches work for a service body set up?

You are responding to a thread that's 3 years old and the original question was solved for the OP. I think you would have better luck getting responses if you posted your question in a new thread.

There is no definitive answer to that because there are many different types of service bodies and many different types of 5th wheels. Some are higher. Some are narrower inside. If the service body is too high, it will hit the underside of the 5th wheel without doing some kind of suspension lift. If the service body is too narrow inside there isn't room for the hitch to turn no matter how high you raise it.
Of course you haven't been back since making this post so this is wasted typing on my part. Maybe it will benefit someone in the future.
