So... after two years, has Tesla actually "unveiled" anything? According to the original post, a new truck was supposed to be unveiled in October, 2017.
Just the "semi prototypes". One would think out in California - if there were more than just 2 or 3 of them - they would be everywhere. Youtube videos all over the place - I do see some of those occasionally, but nothing spectacular.
I haven't seen the Tesla pickup yet. I'm not holding my breath on how it'll look, either. Frankly I liked that one that the lady cut out of a model X.
Who knows, maybe Musk will pull something amazing out of his behind.
Nobody has seen the pickup yet. The unveil is tomorrow. From his comments he is not shooting for the mainstream market. Then again, if he gets 5 percent of the market that would be a pretty good showing. My predictions are the first available models will be high trim, long range and about 80,000 bucks. I don’t think he’ll have any problem selling them at that. Cheaper shorter range models to follow.
Just a guess.
