My truck is a 96 Ford F250 with the 7.3 power stroke diesel and 402,000 miles on the original injectors. Time for new ones. The PSD requires you to pull the valve covers to do this. My son and I did this last weekend. While we were there we did the injectors, new glow plugs, and new gaskets (these are reusable gaskets which have the wiring harness built in so we figured the wiring would be the weak spot). The injectors are Baby Swamps which have a nice range of flow to go with the TS-6 Chip we also put in. This chip has 6 settings. Stock, high idle, economy, tow, and 2 basically street drag-coal roll choices.
This truck popped back to life after this. Wow. I am extremely happy with these injectors and the chip. Ford wanted $5000- for their injectors and install. I paid $1900- for all of the above. Took us about 6 hours taking our time. Wish I hadn't waited as long.
