It's the disposing part that a PITA to do around here.. The only legal place to take antifreeze is not open on weekend's. So it's far easier to take it a local shop and have them do it. The oil change is a enough of a PITA to do on my own.
WAY too many shops use a garden hose to refill the coolant system after they use whatever off-brand,cheap coolant that they have on hand. Watched it happen many times when I was working at a shop. And what passes for a tranny "flush" is often jaw dropping.

My truck is a 96 Ford F250 with the 7.3 power stroke diesel and 402,000 miles on the original injectors. Time for new ones. The PSD requires you to pull the valve covers to do this. My son and I did this last weekend. While we were there we did the injectors, new glow plugs, and new gaskets (these are reusable gaskets which have the wiring harness built in so we figured the wiring would be the weak spot). The injectors are Baby Swamps which have a nice range of flow to go with the TS-6 Chip we also put in. This chip has 6 settings. Stock, high idle, economy, tow, and 2 basically street drag-coal roll choices.
This truck popped back to life after this. Wow. I am extremely happy with these injectors and the chip. Ford wanted $5000- for their injectors and install. I paid $1900- for all of the above. Took us about 6 hours taking our time. Wish I hadn't waited as long.
Nice. Can't beat that 7.3. Almost wished they bring it back. Not gonna happen, I know.
Good to see you're able and willing to take repairs into your own hands rather than letting some hack get a hold of it. I rebuilt my injectors so to speak. Replaced all the seals and sanded the spools to remove the oxidation that was causing stiction. That was 2 years ago. Still running smooth at cold start up. I use fuel conditioner/treatment with every fill up so we'll see how long I can go til they need full replacement. Supposedly can go about 200K if you pamper them. Currently at 122K
