Hello, been a lurker a long time,and have a issue a search hasn't solved.New to me truck, appears to have overload springs and rancho shocks, but being a flatbed/modified dog truck, it's squatting about 2 inches in rear, and getting some minimum sway in turns. For those who aren't concerned about a "unloaded" ride, what are good options for a full time load on the truck? I plan to add a camper to the equation as soon as I fix the ride and get across some scales to see what I have left. Thanks for any suggestions.

Sounds like a good application for air-bags.

Super Springs would be great, but the Torq upper and lower suspension bumpers to load the springs earlier would help. Looks like your lower helper spring is pre-drilled so it would be easy to install the lower device.

I have an 08 F250 that came from the factory with snow plow prep, which made the front end sit about an inch higher than the rear. The truck looked like it had a load in the bed, with nothing in there. I replaced the rear spring blocks and U-bolts, with a set for an F350. The F250 blocks are 2 inches tall and F350 blocks are 4 inches. Then I added an afternarket sway bar and a set of Timbrens. Now, the rear end sits about 1 inch higher than the front. The loaded and unloaded ride has not changed. Since new, the ride has always been better when loaded. The truck is still pretty much level, with 2500 lbs of camper in the bed.

You need to put those overloads to work. stable loads will do that for you, but won't affect the unloaded ride.

The lower StableLoad wedges will engage the lower spring. With upper and lower StableLoads, I carry 4000 lbs without bags.

They are engaged full time now, so curious how a axle spacer would benefit. Airbags may get added, still have 800lbs of dogs and gear to add. The overloads may need some help.

Looks to me like a factory F250 with a camper package which gives you the F350 extra helper spring and rear sway bar. If you want the helper spring to kick in sooner I'd put a spacer at the axle.

Got the stable loads mounted, took about 45 min, and they work like everyone said they would. Raised rear about 2", and stiffened side
to side movement. Thanks again for the help!

I went out and looked at mine. I have 5 leafs also just not overload. The picture just made it look so much bigger when zoomed in.

Those look like Ford wheels. I have a 2008 F250 with snow plow and camper package and do not have overloads. If fact I don't think I even have that many leafs.
