1 million mile Toyota Tundra

It always amazes me to read these high miles. I remember my dad would trade his in before 100,000 miles as he felt they were not reliable. Maybe they weren't.

I had a 1996 Avalon with nearly 400,000 miles, and I always said I wouldn't hesitate to jump in it and drive coast-to-coast. I gave it to my brother because I wanted (not needed)something new.

I've only put 282,000 miles on my 93 Toyota pickup so far. Think I'll go for a drive, a long drive.

I didn't post as a "big deal" - we have put around 2.2 million km on 4 Toyota vehicles (Land Cruisers, vans, and cars) ourselves over the years.

I found it interesting what Toyota is going to do with the vehicle.

Too bad the plant is partly shutdown for repairs from the recent rain storms we had. Parts of the plant have no power and there is a hole in the roof.

My 2007 Toyota Tundra only has 71,000 miles.
