12 inch tire replacements

Question

Newbie question:My 2005 Rockwood has 12 inch Carlisle tires that need to be replaced.  They are ST145 / R12 DAre these an ok replacement? ST145 / R12 95M E1 BSW CARLISLE RADIAL TRAIL RH I think the speed and load ratings are different but better on the new ones. But not sure if that will affect tow performance at all.Thanks!

Lots of 12 inch tires available such as from eTrailer. What is the max trailer weight?

should be fine going from D load range to E so a heavier tire.  R12D to R12E

THERE WILL BE NO CUSSING ON THIS SITE ,,CARLISLE is a cuss word. get some GY endurance tires . carlisle makes lawn mower tires and should stick to it.

Max trailer weight is only 3000 lbs.Thanks for the quick response, seems like I should be ok.  And sorry for cussing!  :)

Carlisle tires of old were terrible, no doubt. Had a set on a new trailer and one blew within months. Never again, I said. Well guess what? I have a new set on my Airstream and am very happy after three years.

These have been completely redesigned. Not the same tire. Got mine at Discount Tires and am happy with them. Not sure if you need load range E for a tent trailer. Check the weights and then decide.
