12000 lb tt
I know a guy that pulls a 12000lb tt with a toyota 1/2 ton and he say s it does great. Is this safe?

you think it doesn't have trailer brakes??:? You have to know that there is not any pickup truck out there that is rated to stop itself, AND a 12000lb trailer.. Trucks, no matter how big, are only rated to stop the GVWR of the truck. Anything over that. The trailer brakes stop.
