Mine did on my trip out west and luckily I was near a dealer that had 4 in stock. The parts guy said they replace a lot of them. It's about a 30 minute fix.
There's a place Black Market Performance that makes a Billet aluminum replacement Y pipe I wasn't able to get that while on my trip but I will soon. Basically there are 2 types of OEM Y pipes: those that have cracked and those that will crack.

Is this done without having to drain the coolant, being the upper hose ??
That Billet aluminum looks like the cure. I too will look into that, although I have had no problem so far.
