15-18K below MSRP, which could mean around 5K, plus interest rates, doesn't sound like a great deal to me. You may need to do the math. I too went thru this, and in reality I was money ahead with a new one.
Or finally get to where you can write a check for a good used one. Did that 10 years ago on a three year old after trade in. Since then, $5000 in depreciation on a now 200k mile truck.
I worked the numbers, too. Repeatedly financing yet another isn't money ahead.
If the OPs truck is a lemon, yeah, get another. Nothing like having a Cummins under the hood. Dodge or Kenworth.
