After posting a few comments on another thread, I decided to start this one under a topic more easily recognized. I also have started a blog at: http://www.tcreviver.com. Okay, MKish, here it is. I'll post to it whenever I get a chance. -Carey

Planning on painting the roof before the next trip to the beach.
waiting for the 90+ heat to go away.
Might touch up the siding & still have to install the outside shower.

I finally found time to work for a few minutes this week and hope to work some more tomorrow. I got the old floor out and hope to start on the new one now. It was more of a job than I thought it would be, but it's done now. Hope I can find more time to work on her in the coming weeks. I think I might put the old siding up just for a temporary weather shield. What're are you guys doing? -Carey
BTW- I posted a couple more pictures on the blog.

Thanks for the info 71 and 76. Fridge eventually started working...perfectly. Any replacement parts available for those fridges or general Amerigo OEM parts for that matter. Mine is missing the knobs for firing up the propane feed.
I threw out the vehicle side of the intercom package shortly after purchase but it did not have the pronged connections with it. Thanks again for the info. The second outlet really had me stumped. Now onto flushing and sanitizing the water system including hot tank. Any advice?

Hi Guys,
Saw your post and thought I'd chime in....
The two plug connectors up front are: the small plug was for an intercomm between the cab and camper. (I don't let my kids in the back when traveling, so that was removed, must have been a 70's thing)
The other plug, as you know, are the running lights/brake/turn/12V/GND. If you add a battery in the camper, make sure you are getting 13 volts or more to charge it while driving.
Not sure what Romex wire you're talking about from the converter. My converter has stranded 12 or 14 ga wires for the 12 volt system. The Romex is only for 115/120VAC outlets on mine. Come to think of it, the line you're seeing may be the wire for the Airconditioner. They did pre wire some of these that way...

I'm going to be loading up mine tonight. I'm adding another flat sceen/DVD combo to the Snap n Nap. An articulating arm mount to the wall against the bathroom. I also want to add a removable shelf from that same wall to the Snap n Nap back. This will be for my son's duffle bag to get off the bed area.
We're off to Myrtle Beach Sunday morning for 10 days so I'll be busy packing..
Keep up the hard work rebuilding.....you'll enjoy it when it's done!!

Fridge would have to be on for a couple of hours before it gets cold.

As far as wiring harness for lights i have only 1 seven prong outlet.

Got all lights/wiring replaced. Powered up convertor. Everything works minus fridge. Is the additional romex line at convertor for in camper battery install?

On to wiring harness to truck for driving lights and external battery power. Camper has two multi pronged outlets at drivers side front. Any explanations for the two?

Glad to hear all is going well.
The previous owner made all the back corner trim with a regular aluminum brake.
This is what all the vinyl siding guys have. I'm sure a local guy could help you out with that.
As for the siding i got the same quote. It was going to cost $400 for the siding and $500 to have it shipped.

keep the pics coming.

I have some work to do on the house before the fourth so I'm out of the camper business for a couple more weeks. I'm looking for a local source to fabricate the siding and rear trim. I can't pay the postage to get them mailed to me off the net. I've even thought about designing a Rube Goldberg affair to fabricate them myself. I guess I'll find someone to do it cheaper, though. I've also decided to replace the small bath vent with the fantastic vent and eliminate the vent outside the bath. If anyone has and suggestions about this, I'd like to hear them now. I guess the floor comes out next. I keep saying that, but it doesn't seem to come about. I can see some fun days ahead, but many things get in the way. This summer is about getting ready for enjoying the down time next year. After all the support you guys have given me, I wouldn't dare not come through. Like I said on the blog, "This is for fun." Keep the posts coming, I feed on this stuff. -Carey
BTW-It really is good to hear from everybody again after the winter break.

Hoping to unload it this weekend and start the prep to paint it. And waiting on a table saw so I can start back on the interior rebuild.

I used the 4x8 fiberglass paneling sheets sold at lowes and home depot.
I used fiberglass shower stall adhesive to glue over the existing surface.
if you go back to page 9 on this post there is a pic of my dog on the snap and nap. This comes in white which Iused on the outside and off white which i used on the inside. make sure you get the edge moulding as this gives a factory finish look.

Any ideas on repairing the side skirts of the snap nap. Mine has linear cracks in several places. I was thinking some kind of plastic laminate or metallic tape.
