Basically, it has been a very rough ist half of 2013. Finally we had the opportunity to pull out the PUP (July 6 & 7). Anyway setup went flawlessly. We didnt forget anything. Not without bumps though. Wifes blood sugar dropped, she slept most of afternoon, woke up to a vicsous rainstorm (completely unannounced) The PUP held up to the winds and never leaked a drop.

That is not the main purpose of this post though----This is.

Sunday (as we stayed into early afternoon) we watched several leave. This one really caught my eye.
A few sites down was a (I figure about a 26-28' TT) parked in front was a real nice Dodge 3500 SRW. Sunday AM he backed up, loaded the truck, put a bike rack on the hitch reciever, threw his 3 bikes on the rack, got the TT ready to pull, and away he drove (TT left on the site). --- about 30 minutes later, an older couple drove to that same TT in a Ford Crown Vic. Hooked up the TT and drove away.

Impossible, of course not. Weird, definitely. Im sure there is an explaination somewhere, but it sure did puzzle me just looking in.

People are finding all kinds of ways to make money and renting out your TT is one if they deliver it for you they make more money. Or he could be smarter then most buy the truck rent the TT find what you like before you buy we go 4 or 5 times a year some times i think how nice it would be to just rent one instead of having 32ft beside my house but there is nothing better then having your own stuff
enjoy life while you can:D

HMMMMM-I was wondering if it was a case of "Grand Theft Camper" :h

Maybe he was behind on payments and the old coot in the unmarked police car was the "REPO man"

BigBaron. That is exactly what I was thinking, having never said a word to them, I will probably never really know.

BTW Its nice to see you on here. I enjoy your comments on popupportal. Where I am qwed94. Are you on canvascampers also? I really cant remember if I seen you there or not. I just finished looking at the pic you posted on popupportal with the guy pulling a PUP behind his boat. That is how I remembered you there.

Maybe Bonnie and Clyde needed a new place to stay and that guy left his traler without a lock.

That is really odd. A hitch rack for a pick up, and the TT switch. Maybe they can't afford their own TT because of all the toys they have, so Mom and Dad let them borrow the TT... LOL

From six months of no camping to having a winter site 30 minutes from a ski resort! I'm a happy camper!
