1st Trip w '09 Tango 276 - what I wish it had (& hadn't)
We made our first trip in our new to us 276RBS Pacific Coachworks Tango this weekend. It is the latest in a fairly long list of RVS. Of course as a used unit it was equipped as is. Here are some changes I would make if purchasing new:
1. Electric tongue jack. I'm getting too d&$-n old for all this cranking.
2. Ditch the electric awning. Manual ones have never given me a problem and they're more versatile.
3. It's got a huge 4D battery. I would have gone with two 6v golf cart batteries.
4. It's got solar, but only a 100w panel. I would have gone with a bigger one since much of the cost is in the installation and charge controller and the don't change.
It is a great TT and some of those mods may happen in the near future - especially the electric jack!
