2004-2007 Dodge trucks added to airbag recall

According to the recall notice I received a week ago from Chrysler, the recall for all the vehicles included is only for cars/trucks originally sold or currently registered in Hawaii, Florida, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.Further confusing the issue, I received a recall notice (own an '05 3500), but the notice does not name 2005 3500 trucks, just 2005 cab/chassis. I went to the NHTSA website and used the VIN# recall search tool. It said my truck is included? The NHTSA website says only the passenger side airbag inflator is the problem, the Chrysler recall notice says driver and/or passenger airbags WTH????

I'll let the dealer figure it out when they get replacement actuators........which won't be til late January. The truck has sat outside all its life, it the airbags haven't killed me by now...........

I have known this for several weeks, though I do not expect to get one for my truck as I do not live near a coast.

Notices went out.........no replacement parts available now or anytime in near future.

Got my notice Monday.
