I tried searching but wasn't able to find out much about tow mirrors for the Platinum. Just wondering if there are any Platinum owners out there and what they've found and happy with. Thanks ...

What exactly about the Platinum are you interested in? I had OEM tow mirrors on my 2010 SR5 and loved them. They were literally plug and play. I took off the door panel access and removed 3 nuts and pulled off the original mirror, plugged in the tow mirror and tightened the nuts. Power adjustment and lights all worked.
I'm not sure of the difference between the SR5 and Platinum, maybe power fold. If your Platinum has power fold option now and you buy tow mirrors with power fold, it should all work.
The only difference with the mirrors for a Platinum is power folding. Doesn’t seem like a bg deal but it is convenient and for us the mirrors have to be folded to get in and out of the garage. Later this year Ill drop the money for a set.
