2013 vs. 2014 Shadow Cruiser 260BHS

We are looking into purchasing a Cruiser RV Shadow Cruiser 260BHS. Nice balance of features, space and price. The unit we looked at was shown to us as a "2014" model year. But, after coming home and looking at other 2014 Shadow Cruiser 260BHS units online it appears the unit we toured was actually a 2013.
Essentially a 2013 model has a simple curved fiberglass front and the 2014 appears to have perhaps a plastic or fiberglass "nose cone" with blue LED lights on either side about 12" above the rock guard plate.
Additionally, the 2014 model has more of an arched ceiling whereas the 2013 is flat. Anyone who has either model please confirm. I would like to think that the manufacturer wouldn't have changed designs in the middle of the model year...or the dealer doesn't know their product.
Finally, anyone know what year Cruiser RV stopped having issues with the under-rated axles and tires wearing out?
