2014 Silverado tires question

OP, if you got 66k out of the OEM tires and were happy with them why change to something different?

My stock size RAM Dually tires $1,300 out the door for 6 Michelin MS2’s at Discount Tire.

I have bought 17 defenders. I will buy again if needed. Chevman

WOW! For les than half that price I put 6 Yokahama Geloanders on my dually. Great tire, super quiet riding.

You won't be sorry if you go with the Michelins. My opinion
after many, many years of using them. Absolutely no problems.

66k sounds pretty good to me. I’d stay with Wranglers

We just put six of the Michelin Defenders on our F350. The Michelins replaced General Grabbers with about 40K miles on them. The Grabbers still had lots of tread and performed very well but, at 7 years old, they were aging out. I can't really tell any difference in handling with the change. The main thing I've noted is that the Defenders have a more open tread (good for rain, etc.) that tends to pick up larger pieces of gravel, etc., from parks and campgrounds... and then throw them in the wheel wells as we approach highway speed. Not a big deal, though. I'm very happy with the Defenders - but the Goodyears are good tires, too.
