- goducks10ExplorerIn the 3500 line you'll be lucky to walk the dealer lot and find a 6.4 Hemi. 98% will be 6.7 CTD. Just drive down and look around.
- Scooter86ExplorerThe Cummins is such a popular engine, it would be surprising to find a dealer that didn't have at least one example on the lot.
- donn0128Explorer IIHave you gont online to the Ram truck builder, build your dream truck and let it find it for you?
- NC_HaulerExplorerAs stated, you can get a 3500 SRW or 3500 DRW with the Cummins diesel engine, or with a gas engine....As also stated, go to a Ram dealership and look at the trucks, I would imagine that most of the 2500's and 3500's will have the diesel engine in them...The 3500 SRW truck will come with only one gearing with the Cummins, a 3.42...The 3500 Dually with the Cummins can be had with the 3.42, 3.73 or the 4.10...
Just look at the window sticker...heck, look at the badging on the front fenders, they'll be a BIG C with Cummins written out on it... - TargaExplorerThe dealers lots are full of 6.7's. Just to throw it out there, a 3500 Ram with the 5.7 or 6.4 is more than three times the truck ( in reference to payload :B) as the Tundra you were previously looking at.
- GreentreenaExplorerEvery 3500 has the diesel as an option: I think the hemi is the base engine.
