Never would think someone would cross shop a new mid size truck vs a used Subaru wagon. But I am glad you are happy with the purchase.
Tons of Subies in Colorado. Usually driving in the left lane 5 mph under the speed limit with left leaning bumper stickers on the windows.
I really did not cross shop the two vehicles. In an earlier post I mentioned my stepson who works at GM and is very familiar with the diesel Colorado has seen some minor but aggravating issues with the new diesel. His recommendation was to wait to buy until next year. I needed a vehicle for driving 150 plus miles a day between two job sites and Deb needs a newer daily driver this winter. She was out with me when we started looking and really liked the Outback...so I bought it...the new Colorado can wait a year or so...
I enjoyed your left leaning Colorado Subie owner comment. I have a very good friend that lives in Denver and my oldest daughter who owns two Subies lives in Boulder. She leans a bit left at times but as an attorney, she is coming around nicely...figured out finally who pays for all that leftist stuff...My buddy in Denver is further right than me...and he has given me quite a bit of grief over my left side sagging liberal new purchase...thanks for the laugh...
Have a Great day
Regards
