2019 Ram Heavy Duty spy photos

Looks like pickuptrucks.com has posted an article featuring some spy photos of the new Ram truck coming out in 2019. Maybe its just me but they look like a minor refresh is in the works but hopefully I'm wrong and there's more to them.

  • Might be the 2018. The article doesn't mention why they think it's a 2019 prototype. I would think the 2019 HD's would follow the design que's of the 2018 1/2 ton and when the 18's are unveiled, then we'll have a better idea as to what the '19 HD will look like.
  • I often wondered if the manufacturers camouflage a current year truck
and drive it around to mess with people's minds? :@
  • I honestly hope they don't fool with or change a lot. If it ain't broke don't fix it IMO.

Same thing I thought of the newer ones :B

    I owned a 1970 Dodge Ram.....happiest day was when I sold it

I bought a 2007 cause FORD was messed up.
Bought it BECAUSE of the 5.9L Cummins--------NOT because it was a Dodge

If it didn't have a Cummins I wouldn't have bought it---plain and simple

When my father passed away I took ownership of his 1989 RAM 350 extended cab 2wd Ram with the 12v. Cab needs paint but is in good shape, the bed is worth of scrap but its beautiful to me. Even if it does beat me to death driving down our gravel road.
  • But according to some, FCA is bankrupt and going to fold any day so why build new prototypes????;)

I actually like the looks of the first gen trucks when they got their last refresh in the early 90's.

I think FCA is well aware that their success financially is extremely tied to Ram sales. It's a very profitable and high volume brand. ;)

You can include Jeep as well. The problem is these two brands are being sucked up financially to prop up the other FCA brands.
