- LanceRKeysExplorerI was really wishing the ram would have done better. Too bad it wasn’t a 4.10 rear pulling 16,000 like the other trucks.
Now I want to see the 6.2 with a 4.3 rear pulling that load up the hill. - MFLNomad IISome impressive power from the Ford, compared to others. Takes a lot of fuel to make that power, in extreme test conditions. I think the new Ford 6.2 with 4.30 10-speed, which IIRC requires F350 for 10-speed, would not be too far behind 7.3 time, likely ahead of others.

I think the 7.3L Ford had a 4.30 in it.
I know many 6.4L owners in the Ram forum don't like the 3.73's, but that is what is mainly on the lots. The 4.10 guys generally have no complaints. - kw_00ExplorerIt appears that GM needs to step up in transmission gearing.... they need to run that 10 speed. It will boost the capabilities of the new 6.6. Nice to see all that gas jobs though doing well.
