This is probably the first Chevy mid size truck that I actually like since the 1980's S10 (Almost purchased one back then, but couldn't resist that IROC Z). Not sure if these mid size trucks differen...

It's certainly a good looking midsize pickup. Unlike the previous gen, it was designed from the ground up for North America. I had a 2018 ZR2 with the 3.6L. It was crazy good off road. The interior was not great. I always thought that the 3.6 was kind of an odd engine for that pickup. The power looks really good, but the MPG isn't as good as many were hoping for. From the Utube videos I have seen its equal to or tad under the previous 3.6 NA engine, but depending on which version of the 2.7 Turbo your comparing it to, the 2.7 T is more power than the 3.6L. I am hoping that they drop the 3.0 diesel in it at some point. I think it is going to be very popular.
