The 2024 Chevy Duramax HD pulled 16,500 lbs with 1 brake application.

GM did good...

It was only slightly better the 2020 Duramax pulling 16000lbs. The 2020 required two brake applications and was only slightly slower up. Andrea said he had it pinned to get 60 mph but maybe that was only at the steepest point on the hill. If the trucks can pull the hill at 60 without having the accelerator pinned timing the run becomes a test on the accuracy of the truck’s speedometer.

  • The went and hid the headlight and 4wd switch behind the steering wheel again.
That's the only complaint I have on my 2009 Silverado.
  • Glad to see they tightened up the exhaust brake, that needed to happen. I have the exact same blue Diamond C 35' GN trailer, love that trailer. I like the looks, the interior, just wish they would have given it like 1100 pound/feet of torque. The L5P is capable of whole lot more than 975. Banks Engineering has proven that. Either way, looks like a nice upgrade from 20-23 trucks. Last week I priced a '24 3500 DRW, CC, LTZ, and it was 80K. Less than 2K more than the MSRP on my '20.
