When you started listing all these quality issues, I figured you were talking about new homes. :) Seriously though, everything is expensive these days - housing being the most ridiculous in many parts of the country. Have you gone to a ball game lately? Talk about waaay over-priced! Furthermore, even some fast food joints are getting $7 for a greasy burger. To top it off, look what some people spend on the pricier cars out there that do nothing but get them to and from work and the grocery store. Let's see them take a shower or cook dinner in their expensive car.

We bought both our campers brand new and have no problem spending the money for something that gives us the freedom to go see and do the things we like to do in comfort. Sure beats throwing the money down the toilet on new living room furniture.
