New truck time here so would like to know who/where in Tucson is the best company to install a new hitch? Will be for a standard be double cab 2019 Chevy 2500HD. Thanks in advance.Curly

If ordering new. That would be Chevy. Just order the fifth wheel prep package.

Thanks but just picked up the truck from the dealer. Wanted to grab a 2019 so now we need to find out the best options for 5th wheel installation at the local level with the best value. I really loved the 2007 and it did very well for us so we are hoping that the 2019 with the same powertrain will do as well. We know what to expect from it.Thanks,Curly

Congrats on the new truck, I also picked up a 2019 back in October as I didn't want the 2020. If you happen to have the prep package you can simply order one for your truck and drop it in. Mine did not have the prep package and I reused my B&W patriot and put in new rails. Having rails in my truck doesn't bother me at all so it worked for me. Consider doing it yourself. My dealer installed the rails on my last truck and I wasn't happy with their install so I installed the rails myself in the new one. So If you are doing rails and somewhat handy it's an easy install in terms of not complicated but there are tight areas so smaller the hands I think the better it is. Etrailer is a excellent place to order parts, excellent service and also have excellent how to videos on just about every product they sell. Dan

The 2016 dodge 2500 3/4 ton that I bought new in 2016 had I puck system in it.. i had the dealer install a Curt 5th wheel hitch. I Just made it part of the deal. The dealer services the hitch in spring at the start of my camping season. No charge for the hitch service. Jim2007...

Trailer wiring is plug and play now days. I installed the RAM. Picks in my 2015 myself.

I know with Ford you can buy the factory puck system from parts and it can be dealer installed. Likely that GM is the same.
