As would the GTO. 360 hp vs 295 in the SS350. GTO was a second or so quicker than the SS in the quarter.
I have to agree that today’s iron is better (more advanced) in every way than the old stuff, but nothing on the street today would compare to driving a ‘69 Z-28, or a big block RS/SS the way it was meant to be driven. Might not be the quickest or the fastest, but as I said before, all of the old muscle cars from any of the big three + AMC are in a class of their own.
Which will turn more heads— your F150 or the ‘67 SS.
