A Coule of Newbie Truck Camper Questions

We're experienced RV'ers, butt his is our first time with a truck camper.

1. What is the reason for the little diamond shaped window at the bottom of the door of our truck camper?

2. Inside the bathroom door, there's a shower curtain. Would you normally shower with the curtain closed and the bathroom door open, or shower with the bathroom door closed and the shower curtain covering it? Or does it matter? Lol

    My wifes job when we take off with the camper is to lift and tuck the cover that hangs over that little square window on our camper. And about the only thing it is good for is observing the tailgaters behind you.
    And like realtor said, use the door with the curtain.

    The lower window lets you use your trucks interior rear view mirror. When all you see is the semi's grill, speed up or move over. If you have a wood door, the show r curtain will keep water off of it. Basically a TC is very similar to other rv's.
