A-frame, Aliner, Chalet question

I'm considering an A-frame type unit for locales where my toyhauler is just too big. As I look these units over, it just seems to me that they seem lacking when it comes to ventilation. The amount of screened areas and it's location just doesn't seem like it would be enough. I understand that A/C will take care of the problem, but there are times I'd rather not have to rely on A/C.

What has been your experience in this regard?
  • Bought a 2015 Jayco 12HMD. Ventilation was not an issue. The heatpump/air conditioner was an issue!
Long story short I traded the unit in for a TT.
  • Thanks to all for the clarifications. Glad to know it isn't an issue.
  • My husband and I have an Aliner Ranger 15, and there's plenty of ventilation, especially when using the Fantastic Fan while the windows are open. We love ours! It's super easy to tow and set up.

If you're on FB, feel free to join the A frame group on there. The people are very friendly and helpful: A frame FB Group.
  • Have had my Aliner Scout for three summers now and, when opening a window and running the Fantastic fan on low, have never wished for more ventilation.
  • On my third Aliner and never any ventilation problems. With last two have had Fantastic-Fan which comes in handy when no breeze is present. Newer units with soft or hard-side dormers have even more ventilatiom
  • I owned a 2010 Aliner Ranger 12 for 1 year... sold it this past July. Ventilation was no problem at all. I could open the large windows, 1 on each side, and turn the vent fan on low or medium, and have a trailer full of fresh air in just a couple of minutes. A unit that size is very easy to ventilate.
