A shout out for Timbren

I had my Dodge 3500 in the shop for a broken tailpipe. While on the rack it was discovered one of the Timbrens was missing. I called Timbren and they send out a new improved set the next day. No questions asked, not even pictures.
I called that great customer service.

mine is a 2015
it only has 4 springs, no overload. my neighbor has a 2500 chevy, and he has 5 springs.
when I put my 5er on, this is when it drops 2". seems like the timbrens would keep it from dropping the full 2". so maybe only 1" drop. that would help keep light correct.

depending on what year your ram 3500 is, it might have upper helper springs. below is a picture of my 06, those rubber bumpers are from Energysyspension, cost about $30 per side. Or you can go with torklift upper stableLoad which is similar. This type system only comes into play when truck is loaded.

This is with 9 years and 60K miles on them.

Timbrens work so great for me!

I would think that amount of drop would be typical with bags or Timbren's. It is just personal choice which you want. Timbren's are put them on and forget them, bags are adjustments needed.

I had air bags on my 1/2. my truck drops about 1 1/2 to 2" when I connect 5er.
would these work ok, or go with air bags

Timbrens are not shocks as they're only a suspension enhancement system. I've got Timbrens on my truck and love them. It will not void your vehicle warranty. It's good to know about their terrific customer service.

Timbrens are bump stops basically not shocks. Should not void warranty.

I love mine and you can't ask for anything better than that for customer service!!!!!!
