I am serious about getting a new Mammoth Host and a new RAM Crew cab DRW one ton.

What do I need to do - if anything - to make the ride as stable as possible.

I have owned 2 TCs in the past and carried them both in a Short bed Dodges. The last one was an Alpine lite 9.5 with a slide - it was heavy and I had 19.5 tires, supersprings, air bags and a heliwig anti sway bar and I still had some sway. I carried it in a 2006 MEGA cab 2500.

The Host weights more but the truck will be a long bed DRW. Are the new OEM RAM air bags worth it for a heavy TC?

We sold the Alpine lite and went to travel trailers and finally a Toy hauler but then made the mistake of looking at the new class B plus with the Mercedes diesel and slide outs. The wife loved them but for $100,000 plus I choked and started to think about the triple slide truck campers - seems a better way to go.

You'll end up spending the $100k when you factor in the Host plus the new truck so you best make sure SWMBO agrees.:-)

I am driving what you want. see sig. Def get the factory air. It is awesome, no sag, no sway. Towing is easy with these. Just call TL. Ask me any questions. Factory GVW 14k. rear axle 9750 front 6k. Factory tires are higher than that. 900 pound feet of tq!!!!!!! Get 4.10 rear with AESIN tranny. spelling is prob off there.
I look forward to seeing your rig.

She stayed with me through the Lance and the Alpine Lite and is as excited about the triple slide TCs as I am - we can tow the Jeep, RZR and boat much easier than the 3.0 liter Mercedes diesel - and still have a truck for day to day use.
