Does anyone know why Trailer manufacturers put a 13,500 btu air conditioner in a 19 ft trailer.It seems to me to be over kill.I have 10,000 btu in one room (500 sq ft ) in my house and will cool that ...

Forget to turn it on until 3pm on a 100 degree day and you won't think it's overkill. Especially when it takes 4-5 hours to get down to the low 70's. What's wrong with a little extra horsepower to help drop the temp when you pull into camp at 5pm on a Hot Friday afternoon? If it's too cold for you, can't the thermostat be adjusted to your liking? I'm guessing all others complaining about it being too cold, I'm guessing loose the temp setting debate with their significant other and now want oversize ac regulations written in Congress ;-).
