Airstream Shower

I was talking to a guy at a park how has a 2015 22' Airstream that he just bought used. He is having a problem with his shower but only when not connected to city water. When dry camping the pump will work for the sinks and toiler but not the shower? Shower works fine when on city water?

He thinks that it has something to do with the fact that he has a 20gal fresh water tank and he does not think Airstream will allow the shower to work when dry camping? If that were the case that would be pretty snooty for Airstream to think they know whats best for your water management! Any thoughts?

    My MIL had this same issue, but with the kitchen sink faucet. Turned out the mesh filter in the faucet was plugged!

    :) Hi, I never heard of this before. This doesn't make sense. Weak water pump or operator error. If the control valve works on shore water, It can't be the valve.

    Don't know he says he took the head apart but I think he has more work to do...

    He is incorrect. Could be one of several different things. Check valve in backwards, valve in off position, not hooked up, or kink in line. Find pump after turning the shower on then follow water line until it doesn't flow any more and there is your problem.

    Should be an easy fix regardless. The potable water system is one system for all. So he just needs to do a bit of searching to find the problem and fix it.
