We did Alaska in 2013 and our blog is almost the same as yours. I go back and look at my pix of the same things. So cool. We, too, took the ferry to Seldovia. . . our friends didn't want to go that day. Boy did they miss out on an adventure. It was total fog when we left, so didn't see much on the way, but once there, we walked around town. Ended up in one of the few shops to find out the owner's husband was the local constable. She wasn't busy, so we stayed and chatted and she told us all about life on a remote place where they only get a supply ship once a month. It was one of our neatest experiences.
