Aluminum siding-where to buy?

Does anyone know of a source for corrugated aluminum siding for our Sunline? I need to replace one section under the stripe and the lower 4 or 5" below that.
Mostly, I've found suppliers online that are located in the west and I'm thinking shipping is going to add a good bit to the price because of the size and the packaging.
Thanks,
Rich
  • Should be some in Indiana somewhere, but I'm just guessing due to some trailers being manufactured there. Check with any mobile home manufactures that might be in your area. They might have a source.
  • Some RV dealers with an extensive service shop carry a siding line as well. They have a number of different rollers for the machine and can produce various profiles.

When I rebuilt my old Citation I found such a place and they showed me samples and colors of what they had for me to choose from. So I picked the one I liked, gave them the various sizes and widths and they produced siding to replace my entire TT.

I suggest calling around to dealers with service shops and asking if they have a siding line and if not if they know who does.

Yes you can get it online but like you say, the shipping.... I rented a truck with a 24 foot box and picked mine up in person. Cost me 1300 and something for enough siding to do my entire 25 foot trailer.

All-Rite.com has it but their pricing is absolutely ridiculous. They overcharge BIG time.
  • I put a gash in my '85 trailer, but back then it was easy to go to my dealer and buy a section of aluminum siding. I fixed the damage myself and saved a ton. These days, I guess I would have to go to a used rv supplier on-line. There's a few down in Florida and California.
  • Thanks for the replies. I will check with the RV dealers, seems to me that aluminum sided RV's get damaged often enough that there should be a source where you can go to pick it up (but maybe I just don't know).
    Thanks,
