chevman - if it's the same recall that effects the lamba airbag modules the dealer is supposed to resolder the wiring harness. There would be no way I'm having a dealer tech solder the airbag harness for proper operation.

add it to the 500 last week for loose steering linkage, that is a 1000, then add it to the Tahoes with faulty seat belts, and the 10 million other vehicles they recalled for many various reasons last week. You got to admit GM is not having a good month / year. I'm personally scared to buy one, and For a minute there. I really wanted a GMC TV. GMCs look really good. And I get a supplier discount.
