Anyone ever try the Traction pads for a Truck Camper

I am seriously thinking of getting a set. These are a knock off of the Maxtrac which are really spendy..

Has anyone ever tried these for there truck camper?

They look like a good item to have around for a truck camper, mounting easily on a ladder rack or whatever..They can be used as a shovel in sand/snow and loose gravel and there rated for 10 tons which would work for leveling the truck camper up to 2 inches, depending on which bran bought also..If you tow an ATV along with your TC,they could really help when you bury the ATV..(laffin)

And, getting the truck camper out of a tough spot even if you have 4X4..

For the price all they need to do is work at least once? Dont know I'd use for leveling, save for when needed.

I have watched alot of videos on them..They work really good for getting un-stuck in mud/sand and snow..Most of the videos are with 4X4's..Also one youtuber with a truck camper stuck next to the river in the sand, again..

Putting getting stuck aside, the shovel aspect of them in snow and sand is appealing as well as there ability to level a truck camper just by driving up on one..Carrying hardware like shovels in a TC isn't that easy with the lack of storage room for long objects..

The people that use them swear by them but few have a truck camper..I do see some advantages of having a pair handy and different uses for someone with a truck camper...Anyone with an ATV would find these worth there weight in gold when getting stuck in an ATV without help around..My son sticks my Yamaha Rhino atleast 4X a year and I finally did last year high centering in the snow, these would have been really helpful saving all the shoveling...

I had a funny comment, but thought better of it....haha.
No experience with them, I carry a front driveshaft on my truck instead!

And a few 2x6s and plywood chunks for leveling.
What does work good for traction and flotation in sand and mud though is plastic snow/construction fence. Maybe not for heavy vehicles but for normal wheelin it’s handy.
