Is there anyone on here familiar with the "Flex by Augusta" Line of Trailers? We came across them in a dealer here and while i am by no means easily impressed with most RV construction, These things seem truly unique. Enough so that we are likely looking at an upgrade before the snow falls.
-Enclosed, Heated, Insulated underbelly that actually runs the poly cover from edge to edge, not just between the frame rails. Guys at the dealer ship are talking -20c use-ability. If the inside of the trailer is ok, the underbelly is ok, (according to them)
-Fantastic construction. All the door and cabinet hardware is residential grade. I was shocked at how different it feels then what you are used to in a trailer.
-All the usual high end trailer goodies, slam doors, good finishing, double pane windows, etc etc.
-Floor Plan... There is no real way to say this is a positive or a negative, because in my belief each and every rv shopper wants something a little bit different. For us, They have one that is a perfect layout for what we want and need.
Downsides? Well, there are 2 big ones...
These things are heavy. A good 2000 to 4000 lbs heavier then the usual light weight stuff on the market. and they are pricy... 3000 to 5000 bucks more then most "competitive" models...
I am really curious if anyone out there has any experience with these things. The idea of buying from a brand new builder spooks me a bit, but honestly these trailers really seem to fit the bill for our needs.
