Thanks for the reply. I am well aware of warranty policies and I know the mileage on my truck and I have the ability to estimate when it will be out of warranty. Your post is what I am trying to get a feel for; real life experiences from those who tow with deleted egr's. Maybe my question should have been does it seem worth it?
Anyway, thanks for the reply.
I had an '07 5.9 that was identical to his truck other than color and engine. I routinely got 2-3mpg better fuel economy than his 6.7.
A by-product of deleting his truck was an instant increase in fuel mileage. Basically matching what my pre-DPF 5.9 got.
It was right around $700 to delete his truck. IIRC this fall will be the second year its been deleted. He has already made up the cost of the kit in fuel mileage.
Now he has a truck that runs like it should and gets better mileage.
Its a win-win.
