Congratulations, I would love to own either a Arctic Fox 1140 or 1150. There is a member who has one (1140) and has done some modifications on it. I'm sure he will chime in with opinions for you.

I'm going to have to drive from Fl to Oregon to pick it up in a few weeks.
Any one have any idea how I can get country wide driving conditions before I head out?

Ditto on Congrat's --- we own a 2010 1140 and absolutely LOVE the unit --- knock on wood not one single problem in over 10,000 miles --- have made some simple mods like vent covers,substituted a quiet vent fan in bath, oxy-gen shower head --- just respect that 1140's are not light weights we use a beefed up F350 DRW Diesel and torklift products --- if you have any questions I'll do my best to answer them --- if you need to use the private message function --- Happy Trails

Let me know if you have any specific questions. Ive owned ours for going on 4 years and its been great. Its my 4th RV in 12 years and by far the best built. Just wait till you see how well built these AF TCs are. Great storage both inside and out. The 8 cu ft frig is fantastic. Ive added alot of mods to mine (I like to call them personal touches)so if I can help you out in anyway just ask.
