I just installed a 7 pin plug in the bed of my truck in the drivers side front corner. I bought a factory type harness that plugs into the 7 pin harness behind the bumper. It has 10 ft of cable and you just drill a hole in the inside of the bed. etrailer has these. The AF plug has a short cable that plugs in to the camper and the truck. This leaves the bumper plug free to use if you need to plug in a trailer or toad.
Same here. I got an OEM extension/ancillary harness from Steve White Motors online, for Ram 2500/3500, then drilled a hole to size in side of truck bed, where you want the plug, dab of silicon sealer, and then ready to free up rear outlet for trailer.
