Not so good for other applications. I did use it for a blind spot on the passenger side for a while. With a simple switch, you could have several cameras with my monitor.
With the multi view screens it would be really nice to have a cam at the hitch as show previously and one up high for looking back. You might ask why low and high, you can hook up trailer with high one...In my case I have a box on back the over hangs the hitch so would not be able to see it...shoot it might be fun to have the two side cams also for blind spot..now that is a bit much! But a hi-lo would be really useful. Some really good ideas here, THX!!!

A basic rule of thumb for a "wireless" system is the closer the transmitter is to the monitor, the less chance for any interference. My Yada operates on 2.4GHz frequency. About the only time you will experience interference / picture quality is when you're in proximity of other devices operating on a same frequency. I eliminated interference completely by locating my transmitter closer to the monitor, even when I'm in my driveway at home.
PS: My Yada also has night vision, It's clear as day, even at night.
I looked this up but it says the camera mounts above the license plate. Mine is on the left of the bumper. How did you mount yours, and where? I thought the best place would be above the camper door directed down?..
