Backup camera in trailer tie into GM tailgate?

I have a '12 GMC Sierra 2500hd SLT with factory backup camera in the tailgate. I'd love to be able to disconnect the tailgate camera connection and plug my TT into it instead, like I do on the afterma...

I got mine for the TC from camera source as well. I bought the salt spreader model. Unplug the tailgate camera when removing the tailgate to load camper, and plug in the camera on the camper into the 2 plugs and I'm done. My camera display is in the mirror and works quite well.
There are options for up to 64 feet of cable.
